Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of IHate.ai provided by Pyxl. You may use the service on https://ihate.ai or through third-party clients such as ChatGPT when you connect the IHate.ai app (including via OAuth and MCP). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Together with these Terms, it forms the agreement between you and Pyxl regarding IHate.ai. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply.
1. The Service
IHate.ai helps you rewrite AI-generated text to sound more natural ("humanize") and, on the website, structure plain text into formatted documents ("format beautifully") without changing your words. Features include a diff viewer, saved documents, exports (on eligible plans), and an MCP-connected ChatGPT app with an interactive widget. Output is generated by automated models and is provided "as is" without guarantees of any particular result, including AI detection outcomes, academic acceptance, or third-party policy compliance.
Plans, usage limits, and feature availability are described in-product and on the Pricing page. We do not guarantee unlimited capacity, availability, or uninterrupted access.
2. Accounts
Most features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (at least 18 where required for paid services). Promptly notify us of unauthorized use.
3. User Content and License
You retain ownership of text you submit and outputs you generate, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. To operate the service, you grant Pyxl a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and create derivative works as needed to provide, secure, and improve IHate.ai—including showing content in widgets, APIs, and MCP tool responses you request.
You represent that you have the rights needed for the content you provide and that your use does not violate law or others' rights.
4. Third-Party Hosts (e.g. ChatGPT)
When you use IHate.ai inside another application, that application's terms, policies, and account controls apply to your use of their product. For OpenAI's ChatGPT, their terms and policies (for example OpenAI Terms of Use) govern your relationship with OpenAI. We are responsible for our integration and our servers; we are not responsible for the host's handling of conversations or tool data beyond what we control.
The ChatGPT app integration is free after OAuth sign-in and uses your monthly word allowance as described in-product. Purchases, subscriptions, and website-only features (such as certain exports) are handled on https://ihate.ai, not inside ChatGPT.
You must not misuse MCP or API access—for example by attempting to bypass authentication, exceed fair use, scrape other users' data, or probe our systems in ways that violate these Terms or applicable law.
5. Acceptable Use
- You must own or have the right to submit any text you process.
- You may not use IHate.ai for unlawful purposes, fraud, harassment, or to violate the rules of any institution you are subject to (including academic integrity policies where they apply).
- You may not abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
- You may not use the service to generate or distribute harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
You are solely responsible for how you use the output. IHate.ai is a writing tool, not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice, and not a guarantee of compliance with any third party's policies.
6. Plans & Billing (Website)
Free and paid plans have usage limits described on the Pricing page. Paid subscriptions on the website are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel from the Billing page. Refunds are handled as stated at checkout and as required by law.
7. AI-Generated Outputs
Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You should review results before relying on them. We do not warrant that humanized or formatted text will pass any automated detection system or satisfy any editorial, legal, or institutional requirement.
8. Intellectual Property
The IHate.ai service, branding, software, and documentation are owned by Pyxl or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or underlying technology except as needed to use the service.
9. Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability; Indemnity
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pyxl and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Pyxl for IHate.ai in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
You will defend and indemnify Pyxl and its affiliates against third-party claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of law or third-party rights, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from the Account page. For data created via ChatGPT, you may request deletion by contacting us at support@pyxl.ai.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security or integrity of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance, except where prohibited by law.
12. Entire Agreement
These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Pyxl regarding IHate.ai and supersede prior understandings on the same subject.
